  2. Maintain a ticket free driving record (applies to all licensed drivers in the home)
  3. Have all your policies with the same company and the same agent
  4. Increase your deductibles and use the savings to buy higher liability limits
  5. Remove collision and comprehensive insurance on an older vehicles
  6. Qualify for as many special discounts as possible (auto/home, good student, multi-car, ect.)
  7. Assign higher risk drivers to older lower risk vehicles
  8. Buy a car with lower rates (family type cars, not sports or luxury cars)
  9. Pay semi-annually or quarterly (monthly is more expensive)
  10. Meet with your agent a least once a year to review and update your policies
